The Most Narrow House in the World

Narrow House is one of the many ways that Austrian artist Erwin Wurm looks at the world differently and challenges his viewers to do the same. Wurm created this installation based off of his childhood home. Visitors were invited into the living quarters to explore the narrow spaces and slender furniture that filled the house. Everything including the hallways, the bedroom, the living areas, even the toilet, were unusually compressed. Through the installation, Wurm raises questions about space, posing "some deep and disturbing questions about the terror that comes from having our personal space constricted, restricted, or invaded."

Wurm approaches art with a great sense of humor. He says, "You don't always have to be deadly serious. Sarcasm and humor can help you see things in a lighter vein." And so, many of his works involve redefining our expectations of the world around us. He creates interactive art using everyday environments, materials, and people in order to provoke his viewers to first laugh, and to then carefully contemplate what we see

The Shortest Man in the World — Chandra Bahadur Dangi

Chandra Bahadur Dangi (born on November 30, 1939) is the shortest man in the world, measuring 0.546 m (1 ft 9 in). Dangi is a primordial dwarf. He broke the record of Gul Mohammed (1957-1997), the shortest adult human whose height was 0.5715 m (1 ft 11 in). Chandra came to news highlights of local media when a wood contractor saw him in his village. All of his family members are of usual size.

He was awarded the title of Shortest adult human ever recorded after measuring his height three times in 24 hours. The chief editor of Guinness Book of World Records said that Chandra is the only person in Guinness' 57 years history to record the title of the shortest man at the age of 73. Dangi lives with his nephews in a remote village of Nepal which is some 400 km away from the country's capital. He wishes to travel all parts of his country and the world. He stated that with him being the shortest man of the world and belonging to Nepal, he wants to popularize his village and his country through the medium of this title.

In 2012, he met the world’s shortest woman, Jyoti Amge of Nagpur, India. The pair posed together for the 57th edition of the Guinness World Records 2013. It is currently unknown what medical condition has restricted Dangi’s height.

Tiny Horse

The horse, currently only a little taller than this book, is expected to grow to about 24 inches

Toy horses are usually pink and plastic – and aimed at young girls. But this little pony is 100 per cent natural – and ready to make friends with anyone her size.

The miniature horse snuggles up to mummy as local people try to come up with a name for her

Born ten days ago at a stud in the southern state of Victoria, Australia, the 15in miniature horse – which is yet to be named – has already formed a bond with Sam Leith, 12. Silver dun tovero in colour, she was given a clean bill of health – and should reach 24in when grown. The birth has generated such excitement in the community that local people are entering a competition to give the horse a name in time for Christmas.

Tight squeeze: The horse is so small it can fit underneath her mother

Owner Lee Scown said she wanted a name that reflected the tiny, unique nature of the horse.'It’s the smallest horse I’ve ever had and she’s so gorgeous,' Ms Scown said. 'It’s amazing to see a horse so tiny, and she’s about the size of a week-old lamb.'The horse is the smallest born at Riverdance and its arrival surprised even its breeder.'We got told the mare wasn't due for another four weeks but on Sunday morning I walked outside and called her, and out ran the little foal behind her.'

Going for a walk: Sam leads the way, followed by Bliss and her tiny new daughter

Seeing eye to eye: The little horse has already formed a bond with youngster Sam Leith

Nearly Naked Jennifer Nicole Lee In The Tiniest Bikinis You Will See All Day

I guess this chick is some kinda fitness model, but to be honest I've never heard of her before.  Wikipedia here I come.

PS - Can these things legally be called bikinis?  Looks a little bit more like dentals floss and 3 postage stamps, no?  Not that there's anything wrong with that....

Smallest House in the World

On the outskirts of Sebastol, this small house has been a childhood dream for artist builder Jay Shafer that created it.

The entire house has only 96 square feet, basically smaller than most of people’s bathrooms.

It is equipped with a stainless-steel kitchen, customized storage and has a classy wood interior. The artist’ next dream is to create a community of such small houses, connected by walking paths, having the same shrunk size as the homes.

Smallest Dog in the World

Here's the Smallest Dog in the World

Meet tiny Dancer, a rust-colored, long-haired Chihuahua that may just be the world's smallest dog, weighing 18 ounces and standing not much more than 4 inches tall.

Dancer's owner, Jenny Gomes, said the diminutive Lake County canine may be on his way to being named the world's smallest living dog by Guinness World Records.

And Dancer may have a legitimate claim to the title. The last smallest dog -- measured by height -- was Danka Kordak of Slovakia, which stood 5.4 inches high, according to Guinness officials.

But that long-haired Chihuahua died. And Gomes said her Dancer is slightly smaller at 4.1 inches, from foot to the top of the shoulder.

Born June 8, Dancer can't officially claim the title until he is 1 year old.

"Then we're planning to throw him a birthday party, measure him officially and get him into the Guinness records as the smallest-living dog," Gomes said.

She said a shorter candidate could emerge but that's unlikely.

Guinness officials require height to be measured up to the animal's shoulders. A Largo Chihuahua is the smallest in terms of length, at 6 inches.

A neighbor of Gomes, who lives in Okahumpka, abandoned a female Chihuahua a year ago. Emaciated and near death when found, the dog was pregnant.

"We rescued her, and two weeks later she gave birth," Gomes said. The first puppy was a normal-sized female. "But about two hours later came Dancer," Gomes said. "He was about a quarter the size of his sister. He was about as big as my thumb."

His sister was adopted, but Gomes kept Dancer and his mother.

Veterinarians suggested Dancer be euthanized because he was likely to have serious health issues as he grew older. Gomes didn't expect the tiny dog to make it either, but she wanted to give him a chance.

Cathy Griggs, Gomes' friend, said she first saw Dancer at the half-year mark.
"If I hadn't known better, I would have assumed he was a puppy," she said.
Those who know Dancer say he doesn't have the typical Chihuahua personality.
"He's a ham. He loves people," Gomes said.

She carries him wrapped in a small blanket or pushes him in a baby stroller. At home, he stays in a small playpen. He is always at risk from larger animals.

"His mother is the only one I let near him. She's very protective," Gomes said.

He is so fragile, a fall from a chair or table could be fatal.
Dancer's name was inspired by a popular Garth Brooks song.
Dancer eats every three or four hours because of his size. His only health problem is low blood sugar.

Gomes said a man in the veterinarian's office offered her $5,000 for Dancer when he found out the dog was an adult.

Gomes refused: "No way. You don't sell love."

Smallest Dog in the World too
The Guinness Records website currently lists "Big Boss", a Yorkshire Terrier, as the smallest dog in the world. Big Boss was listed at 11.94cm (4.7in) tall when guardian Dr. Chai Khanchanakom from Thailand registered the toy dog with Guinness.

"Toy dog" is the breed classification including the Chihuahua, Pekingese, Shih-Tzu and Yorkshire Terrier. These diminutive doggies may be small in stature, but size doesn't matter in the dog world. (Anyone who's seen a Rat Terrier take on a German Shepherd in a barking contest will back me up on this one!)

Smallest Dog in the World Unofficially

TRESTINA (Czech Republic) — A teeny, tiny doggy has gone to teeny, tiny doggy heaven due to an unfortunate mistake at a veterinary clinic.

"Ondra", a Chihuahua who was once the record holder for "Smallest Dog in the World" (Guinness Book of World Records) was accidentally given a fatal shot of the wrong medicine by a veterinarian in Olomauc, Czech Republic last year. The injection, which was a vaccination, caused Ondra's health to deteriorate rapidly to the point that his guardian Miloslava Vasickova decided to have him put down.

Ms. Vasickova brought a lawsuit against the clinic for negligence and won. A Czech district court ruled that the woman is entitled to £20,000 ($28,900 US) compensation for her loss, according to a story in the Czech daily newspaper Pravo. Ms. Vasickova said that the money, Ondra's legacy, will be donated to shelters that care for abandoned animals.

"We only want justice to be done," she says. "Vets should treat animals and not harm them."

The veterinary clinic has appealed the court ruling.

Little Ondra, less that 6 inches long and weighing in at 850g (30 oz., smaller than a medium-sized Big Gulp at the 7-11), brought international fame to his home town of Trestina.

Smallest Bikini in the World

The smallest bikini we have found so far is this model from by Double Take Micro Wear. There are smaller models available, but they don't cover the vital parts and so we don't consider them true bikinis.

If you desire that golden tan over as much of your body as you can possibly receive without going totally nude, then the smallest bikini is the perfect swimwear for you.

This bikini and others made by the same company are the smallest bikini’s ever created. They are made from 20% Lycra (or other elastane) and 80% Nylon. There may not be just one smallest bikini because of the different varieties and styles such as the micro bikini, mini bikini and the tear drop bikini.

The cost for you to wear practically nothing at all is around $29 however, if you wish to have that golden tan without all the attention, you had better use the smallest bikini in a tanning salon.

Smallest Bikini in the World Unofficially

This is a file picture of a young girl model wearing the string bikini which is now claimed as the smallest bikini in the world.

World’s Smallest Bathing Suit or Bikini

Although archaeological evidence points to the existence of the bikini long before the twentieth century, documented history of the modern bikini begins the summer after the close of World War II. As France recovered from the reeling effects of the war on its home soil, Jacques Heim, a fashion designer from the popular beach resort of Cannes, was busily working on his latest style invention, a two-piece swimsuit of a very revealing nature. Heim debuted his creation in a local beach shop in the early summer of 1946. He named the swimsuit the “Atome” in honor of the recently discovered atom, the smallest particle of matter yet detected. He then sent skywriters over Cannes’ beaches, announcing that the Atome, “the world’s smallest bathing suit,” was now available for purchase (Lencek & Bosker 1989). Heim may have become more than just a small footnote in the bikini’s history if it were not for the timely invention and superior christening skills of a French mechanical engineer turned swimsuit designer, Louis Reard. Just three weeks after Heim unveiled his Atome creation, Reard brought out a remarkably similar swimsuit to be sold along the French Riviera. His swimsuit also contained just two scant pieces of cloth that revealed a woman’s back and navel for the first time in the modern era. Reard named his swimsuit the “bikini,” taking the name from the Bikini Reef, one of a series of islands in the South Pacific where testing on the new atomic bomb was occurring that summer (Lencek & Bosker 1989). Historians assume Reard termed his swimsuit the “bikini” because he believed its revealing style would create reactions among people similar to those created by America’s atomic bomb in Japan just one summer earlier. Whether this was his true reason or not, the bikini name stuck, and Reard went down in history as the inventor of the popular two-piece swimsuit.
